Sechs Grammy-Nominierungen für Lady Antebellum

Große Freude bei Lady Antebellum - das Trio, bestehend aus Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley und Dave Haywood könnten - rein theoretisch, bei den kommenden 53. Grammy-Awards sechs der begehrten Trophäen mit nach Hause nehmen. Am 13. Februar 2011 werden die Awards in Los Angeles verliehen, dann heißt es Daumen drücken, damit Lady Antebellum die Auszeichnungen "Single des Jahres", "Album des Jahres" und "Song des Jahres" entgegennehmen können. In der Kategorie "Single des Jahres" (Record of the Year - an den Künstler und die Produzenten) und "Song des Jahres" (Song of the Year - hier werden die Songschreiber geehrt) treten sie gegen B.o.B., Eminem & Rihanna, Cee Lo Green sowie Jay-Z & Alicia Keys und Miranda Lambert an. Beim "Album des Jahres" (Album of the Year) müssen sie sich gegen Eminem, Arcade Fire, Katy Perry und Lady Gaga behaupten.

Sieht also in Sachen Country Music in diesem Jahr richtig gut aus. Die Chancen stehen recht gut – obwohl Eminem (10 Nominierungen), da bestimmt noch ein Wörtchen mitreden wird! Tja, fehlen noch die wichtigsten Nominierungen in den Country/Bluegrass/Folk-Kategorien – die sind ebenso spannend.
